Cattleman's Beef Quarter Fundraiser

posted Jul 17, 2018, 5:39 PM by Eric Mohlis

Good Morning!

It is that time of year again to start signing up for the Cattleman's Beef Quarter Fundraiser. On Sunday, August 19 from 2:45pm-9:00pm, we will run the Cattleman's Beef Quarter Fundraiser to raise $2500.00 for the high school choral department. We are looking for 40 volunteers over the age of 14 to help fill these spots. Here is the sign-up: http://signup.com/go/uezGPdt

This fundraiser will primarily go toward our continued purchase of dresses and tuxes for our choirs. We have purchased these for DCG Singers and are now looking to get dresses for Treble Choir this school year. As we continue to raise money with this fundraiser, we will look to get dresses and tuxes for our Mixed Choir. Our hope is within 4 years we will be able to completely replace and phase out our robes at the high school.

This is a wonderful event and a lot of fun to do. There is an expectation that all students enrolled in DCG Singers should be working this fundraiser if there are spots. We encourage families to sign-up together and make a day of it!

Please contact Mr. Mohlis at eric.mohlis@dcgschools.com if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Thank you to all students that have gone through the All-State Process. We are very fortunate to have so many students interested in auditioning for All-State. We wish we could take more students to the final auditions. Please continue your hard work and keep trying out. No matter the results, you have all improved through the process.
