Algebra I Honors/Average/Support

My name is Trish Taunton. This will be my fifth year as a Math teacher at BHS. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in middle grades Reading, Social Science, and Math. I am also certified in Secondary Math as well. I am Gifted Certified, I have a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership P-12, I am Google Level 1 Certified, and I have my Ed.S. through Valdosta State University in Instructional Technology with a P-12 Technology Applications Concentration. I have a passion for students and education and I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning and fun! Working together we can help your child have a successful school year. Syllabus

We will be using Google Classroom this year as our platform for instruction. Each student will be given a code that will enable them to join. The code to join will be given out at the beginning of school. Click on the link below to be taken to Google Classroom.

There are many additional resources found on schoology.com. It is a Learning Management System that is password protected and will be used in my classroom this year. All students in my class will have their own student account and password. Parents will also be able to create a parent account that will help keep you connected and updated on the assignments that your child completes in the program along with the grade they received on each assignment.
