My Name is Alma  Rosas.  I am the ESL Teacher at Mocksville Elementary School.  I am originally from Mexico City. I studied English Language and Literature at the National Autonomous University of Mexico: UNAM   I graduated from Radford University with a Master's Degree in Science of Education, English as a Second Language Concentration.  I enjoy working with children, traveling, and learning about other cultures.

 My mission is to help students become proficient in the English language while continuing to develop their native language and feeling proud of their own background and culture.

Mi nombre es Alma  Rosas .  Soy la maestra de Inglés como Segunda Lengua en la Escuela Primaria Mocksville.  Nací en la Ciudad de México.  Estudié Lengua y Literatura Inglesa en la UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). Me gradué en la Universidad de Radford con la Maestría en Ciencias de la Educación y la especialidad en Inglés como Segunda Lengua.  Me gusta trabajar con niños, viajar y conocer otras culturas.  

Mi misión es ayudar a los estudiantes a adquirir el idioma inglés y al mismo tiempo motivarlos a seguir desarrollando su lengua materna; sintiéndose orgullosos de sus orígenes.
