We are excited to announce that we will be using Go Fan for an online option to purchase tickets. Cash tickets will still be available at the gate. You can download the Go Fan app which will house all of your tickets. Please be aware that Go fan does charge a convenience fee per ticket. The school doesn't receive any money from the convenience fee thus our prices cannot be adjusted. Other schools in our conference use GoFan and you can easily find posted tickets by searching for North Davie! The QR code below will take you to the Go Fan site.
Davie County Schools Announces Clear Bag Policy
For Middle And High School Athletic Events And Large Assemblies
Mocksville, NC, August 1, 2023 - In order to provide a more safe and secure environment for our students, athletes, parents, staff and community members, Davie County Schools will implement a clear bag requirement for all middle and high school athletic and large assembly events this school year. The change is effective on August 1, 2023.
Approved Bags Include:
● Clear Plastic or Vinyl Bags
● Clear Fanny Packs or Cross Body Bags
● Clear Plastic Ziploc-style Bags
● Clear Backpacks
● Medically Necessary- items such as oxygen bags
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:
● Purses/Pocketbooks
● Cinch/Drawstring bags
● Backpack/Bookbags
● Diaper Bags
● Computer bags/Camera Bags
● Coolers
● Grocery Bags
Spectator chairs, cushions, and blankets will be allowed but are subject to search. Middle schools will make bag storage arrangements for students who stay after school for games or events.
“We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our community as we work together to ensure the well-being of everyone involved in our school events,” said Jeff Wallace, Davie County Schools superintendent. “This is not a new concept to most of our families, since other districts require clear bags as well. We know this added measure of clear bags will enhance the security measures at our events.”
