Registration Information


REGISTRATION for FALL 2019 IS CLOSED - SPRING 2020 information is below

CREDIT DIPLOMA & GED & ADULT BASIC EDUCATION

All students must bring a photo ID, proof of residency, and social security number (if known) to registration.

Students ages 17 & 18 must also provide evidence of withdrawal from high school.  Students not from Danbury High or ACE in Danbury must also bring a copy of their transcript. New students are encouraged to set up a pre registration appointment prior to registration. 

GED and ABE classes are only offered at night. CDP classes are offered day and night.

REGISTRATION:

Returning students: January 13

New students: January 14 and 15

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Be prepared to spend 1-2 hours to complete the process. Children are not permitted.

ORIENTATION:

All students must attend one orientation session on
either January 22 or 23  

Students will sign up for their chosen session at registration

 

Day classes: 9:00 – 2:00 at

10 Crosby St

(new students MUST arrive by 1:00 for placement testing)

Day students: 10 Crosby St
10:30 – 1:30

Night classes: 5:00 – 8:30 at

Danbury High School

(new students MUST arrive by 7:00 for placement testing)

Night students: Danbury High School

5:30 – 8:30


** CDP, GED and ABE classes start Monday January 27 **

 
* New students for CDP and GED programs are encouraged to  call us at  prior to registration  to set up a pre registration appointment with a guidance counselor.  Interested students should call (203) 797-4731 for an appointment. 
          

* CDP students who did not attend a Danbury high school must bring a copy of their transcript. 

* All classes are enrolled on a first  come, first served basis. 

* Valid photo ID, proof of residency and social security number is required. See our FAQ's page for more information. 

* Registration for all new students includes a placement test. Please plan on a two hour visit. 

* Children are not permitted and there is no child care available. 



PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION AND ADDRESS IS REQUIRED ! 

A valid State of CT or Federal photo ID that includes address is preferred (for example a drivers license or consular ID). 
Passports may be accepted if they are valid, and accompanied by proof of address. 

The following documents are acceptable for proof of address:

A  lease or mortgage, utility or phone bill, bank statement, car registration/insurance card, or paycheck. 
Document must be CURRENT (within 90 days of registration date).
