Registration Fall 2019

Returning Students: September 3rd, 2019

New Students: September 4th, 2019

For day classes: First Congregational Church 9:30 - 11:30 am

For night classes: Danbury High School 5:00 - 7:30 pm



A valid State of CT or Federal photo ID that includes address is preferred (for example a drivers license or consular ID). DRIVE ONLY licenses are not accepted because they are issued by DMV for driving purposes only. Passports may be accepted if they are valid and accompanied by proof of address. 

The following documents are acceptable for proof of address:

A  lease or mortgage, utility or phone bill, bank statement, car registration/insurance card, or paycheck. The document must be CURRENT (within 90 days of registration date).


Please plan on a 2 hour visit. Registration includes a placement survey.  

There is no childcare available, and children are not permitted into the building.


Register for day classes at the First Congregational Church, Deer Hill Ave
9:30 am -  11:30 am
(new students must arrive at 9:30 am)

Register for evening classes at Danbury High School at 43 Clapboard Ridge Road 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
(new students must arrive at 5:30pm)

Must bring valid photo ID and proof of address.


This program is designed for adults who have limited English language skills. There are three levels of ESL instruction:  Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced.  ESL classes help students to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills so they are better able to find employment, become involved with their children’s schooling, and make use of community resources. ESL classes are offered both daytime and evening.  

Daytime classes are located at the First Congregational Church on Deer Hill Ave, Danbury from 9:30 -11:30 am. Evening classes are located at Danbury High School, 43 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  Classes meet twice per week and are offered on either a Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs schedule. 

A withdrawal form is required for a student 18 years of age who enrolls in English as a Second Language.

Registration for new students includes orientation and placement surveys. Please plan on a 2 hour visit. There is no child care available, and children are not permitted into the building.
