Registration for new students includes orientation and placement surveys. Please plan on a 2 hour visit. Classes will run on Saturdays from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.

The Citizenship program provides classroom instruction for foreign-born adults who wish to become United States citizens.  The course prepares students to pursue citizenship through the prescribed Immigration and Naturalization Service process.  Instruction is given in English; applicants need to be proficient in English for this course.  Classes are offered free of charge.

PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION AND ADDRESS IS REQUIRED! 

A valid State of CT or Federal photo ID that includes address is preferred (for example a drivers license or consular ID). Passports may be accepted if they are valid, and accompanied by proof of address. 

The following documents are acceptable for proof of address:

A  lease or mortgage, utility or phone bill, bank statement, car registration/insurance card, or paycheck. Document must be CURRENT (within 90 days of registration date).
