Citizenship Program:

        Registration: January 25th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, please note that the last students must sign in by 12:00 pm.

    Danbury Public Library, 170 Main Street, Danbury CT 06810. 

Registration for new students includes orientation and placement surveys. Please plan on a 2-hour visit. Classes will run on Saturdays from Saturday, February 1st to Saturday, May 16th, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The Citizenship program provides classroom instruction for foreign-born adults who wish to become United States citizens.  The course prepares students to pursue citizenship through the prescribed Immigration and Naturalization Service process.  Instruction is given in English; applicants need to be proficient in English for this course.  Classes are offered free of charge.

PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION AND ADDRESS IS REQUIRED! 

Green Card and A valid State of CT or Federal photo ID that includes address is preferred (for example a drivers license or state ID). 

The following documents are acceptable for proof of address:
A  lease or mortgage, utility or phone bill, bank statement, car registration/insurance card, or paycheck. The document must be CURRENT (within 90 days of registration date).
