Citizenship Program:

         Registration January 20  10:00 am - 1:00 pm

         Classes: January 27 – May 12, 2018    10:30 am - 1:30 pm 

Registration for new students includes orientation and placement surveys. Please plan on a 2 hour visit. Classes will run on Saturdays from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.

The Citizenship program provides classroom instruction for foreign-born adults who wish to become United States citizens.  The course prepares students to pursue citizenship through the prescribed Immigration and Naturalization Service process.  Instruction is given in English; applicants need to be proficient in English for this course.  Classes are offered free of charge.

PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION AND ADDRESS IS REQUIRED ! 

A valid State of CT or Federal photo ID that includes address is preferred (for example a drivers license or consular ID). DRIVE ONLY licenses are not accepted because they are issued by DMV for driving purposes only. Passports may be accepted if they are valid, and accompanied by proof of address. 

The following documents are acceptable for proof of address:

A  lease or mortgage, utility or phone bill, bank statement, car registration/insurance card, or paycheck. Document must be CURRENT (within 90 days of registration date).
