FALL REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION - OLD NEWS

You must register online and bring payment in to DHS for each exam you plan to take. Please see the information below on registration and payment.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT IN BEFORE NOVEMBER 28; I WILL BE OUT ON MATERNITY LEAVE AND YOUR CHECK CANNOT BE CASHED UNTIL I GET BACK...HOWEVER IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT A LATE FEE WILL BE CHARGED AFTER DECEMBER 15, 2016. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR PAYMENT INFORMATION.

REGISTRATION

Please fill out the online registration for EACH exam you plan to take. For example, if you plan to take three AP exams then you must fill out the online form three times. The registration link requires a DPS login, so students must fill this out themselves. Please remember that you MUST take the AP exam for each AP course that you are in at DHS. Failure to register and pay by January 10, 2017 (with a late fee after December 15, 2016) will result in a WF for BOTH SEMESTERS on your transcript.

PAYMENT

The cost of each Advanced Placement exam is $98, and it is due by December 15, 2016. NO CASH IS ACCEPTED! Checks should be made out to Danbury High School/AP Exams, and the student's name must appear in the memo section of the check. Payment should be turned in to Mrs. Aaron in D480. If your family is signed up for free/reduced lunch, then no payment is due. If you would like to take advantage of this fee reduction, you must fill out the Danbury Public Schools paperwork for the free/reduced lunch program by the listed deadline, which is October 17, 2016. This paperwork can be found on the Danbury Public Schools website here (links are on the right side of the webpage):

Any payment that is turned in after the deadline of December 15, 2016 will incur a late fee of $27 per exam, making the total $125 per exam. If registration and payment are not completed by January 10, 2017, the student will be dropped from all AP classes and will receive a WF on his/her transcript for BOTH semesters.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Aaron at aaronj@danbury.k12.ct.us anytime.
