Delivering the Secondary Curriculum
The Curriculum, Alignment, Review, and Approval Committee
(CARAC)

The purpose of the Curriculum, Alignment, Review, and Approval Committee (CARAC) is to assist schools and departments to add, delete, and/or modify courses for their master schedules. The committee is also the conduit for innovative courses to be approved and submitted to TEA. Additionally, all updated information included in the General Information Bulletin (GIB) begins with and is revised through the CARAC committee.
