Welcome to 7th grade Math!

• All students must maintain their math binder, including homework, notes, quizzes/tests, and weekly agendas.
• All work must be shown and completed in pencil.
• Homework grade will be based on accuracy, effort, and completeness.

Math students are encouraged to use the 8 Mathematical Practices:

1. Make sense of the problem and preserver.

2. Use reason (explain using #'s and symbols) to solve the problems.

3. Explain WHY it works.

4. Use real world models.

5. Use math tools appropriately.

6. Be accurate and precise in your solution.

7. Make use of structure and patterns.

8. Reflect on your problem-solving.
