How do you keep 700 middle school students engaged and focused during the last few hours before Spring Break? You watch movies...but not just any movies. This past Friday, March 18th, Lincoln students participated in the 7th annual Lin"Cannes" Character Counts film festival. Students selected one of four films to watch during the festival, each with a different Character Counts trait as its focus. Students reflected upon the traits of Caring, Fairness, Citizenship, Trust, Responsibility, and Friendship in the characters and story lines of their selected film.
Many thanks to Betsy Griebenow and our PTA for their support in coordinating another successful film festival!
