The student will be able to: 
            ·  Explain the importance of each Health component and its impact on the body towards a healthy lifestyle.
            ·  Demonstrate skills necessary to perform in a variety of lifelong activities.
 
Health Expectations & Requirements

 ·       Positive participation and attitude are expected in our health class.

  • We will be discussing some sensitive topics and we will expect the behavior of everyone to be acceptable for these types of discussions.
  • Inappropriate and immature comments will not be tolerated and will be dealt with.

Health Grading

  Grades determined by a percent of total points possible… comprised of tests, class projects, and homework.

         Grading scale:    100-90% A        89-80%   B       79-70%         69-60%   D        59-0%   F

          90% (1st Semester class)   /   10% (Final Exam)

o         Homework assignments are meant to help gain knowledge needed for each unit and will be worth up to 5%.

o        It is your responsibility to complete assignments on time.

o       You are RESPONSIBLE for making up assignments and tests when you have an absence.

You too are RESPONSIBLE for keeping an ongoing record of your OWN GRADES.  If you notice something wrong please respectfully bring it to my attention.
