Biography

Martha Lietz

I have been teaching AP Physics C since my first year teaching high school. In fact, answering "yes" to the question "Can you teach AP Physics?" was what got me the interview for the job. I have been at Niles West High School in Skokie, Illinois for 25 years teaching Regular, Honors, AP Physics 1 and AP Physics C. I have served as a College Board Consultant since 1996 and have been an AP Reader, Table Leader and Question Leader since 1997. I served on the Physics Test Development Committee from 2001-2005 and currently serve as a member of the AP Physics 2 Development Committee. I am also active in AAPT and a National Board Certified Teacher. I have taught summer school and evening courses at North Park College and Harper Community College.
