Parent Coffee Series

District 219 Special Education is offering a series of 3 "coffee talks", each on a different topic this spring. 
On February 23rd, 2017, @ Niles West the topic will be "Understanding the IEP". 
On March 22nd, 2017, @ D219 District Office the topic will be "ADHD - Strategies for School Success". 
On April 11, 2017, @ Niles North the topic will be "Transitioning to Adulthood: services for young adults aged 18-22".

D219 Sender Administrators Articulation Breakfast

When: October 14th
Where: Niles North High School, Student Commons
Time: 8:30am-10:00am

Special Connections Meeting; 9/17/15

Please join us for our Special Education 8th to 9th grade transition meeting!  High school representatives will present an overview
of special education services and supports. You will have an opportunity to ask questions regarding your child's transition to high school.

Special Connections is an association for families, friends, teachers and others who support special education services in Niles Township District 219.  Special Connections provides information and resources to parents concerning educational services and supports relative to high school and post­-secondary options for students with special education needs.

Place: Niles West High School, 5701 W. Oakton St, Skokie, IL - Student Commons
8-8:30am Light Breakfast 8:30-10 Articulation information and collaboration.
