District 219 Special Education is offering a series of 3 "coffee talks", each on a different topic this spring.
On February 23rd, 2017, @ Niles West the topic will be "Understanding the IEP".
On March 22nd, 2017, @ D219 District Office the topic will be "ADHD - Strategies for School Success".
On April 11, 2017, @ Niles North the topic will be "Transitioning to Adulthood: services for young adults aged 18-22".

of special education services and supports. You will have an opportunity to ask questions regarding your child's transition to high school.

Special Connections is an association for families, friends, teachers and others who support special education services in Niles Township District 219. Special Connections provides information and resources to parents concerning educational services and supports relative to high school and post-secondary options for students with special education needs.
