Google Docs is a freeware web-based office suite offered by Google within its Google Drive service. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. We will use Google Docs extensively especially for written and group assignments.
Socrative is a smart student response system that empowers teachers to engage their classrooms through a series of educational exercises and games via smartphones, laptops, and tablets. We'll use this cool tool frequently for quick checks for understanding.
Turnitin improves the student writing cycle by preventing plagiarism and providing rich feedback to students. It ensures original work by checking submitted papers against 24+ billion web pages, 300+ million student papers and leading library databases and publications. Expect to submit your written work to Turnitin.com.
Remind101 is safe way for teachers to text message students and stay in touch with parents. We will use this tool to issue reminders about upcoming due dates and events.
