Sizzling Saturday Science for Girls

Program Description  
Our mission is to increase interest in STEM fields such as climate science and nanotechnology by creating meaningful scientific experiences and relationships for 7th and 8th grade girls prior to their entry into high school. Diane Witt, a Behavioral Neuroscientist and Neuroendocrinologist with the National Science Foundation will be the keynote speaker at our next event. Breakout sessions will include hand-ons activities and extended research experiences in our state of the art STEM laboratory with scientists from industry, universities and government agencies.  Come meet real scientists who love science because it is fun!
