- I can determine to what degree a given function fits given data represented in a scatter plot based on an assessment of the residuals.
- For linear models, I can interpret the slope and intercept in the context of the problem.
- For exponential models, I can interpret the y-intercept and growth/decay rate in the context of the problem.
- I can interpret the correlation coefficient of a linear fit.
- I can make an argument as to whether a given correlation is likely to represent causation.
