Subaru has the ability to analyze both jpg and fits files.
To download go to this website : http://makalii.mtk.nao.ac.jp/
(To find this information again...google "Subaru Makalii" )
Once open and a FITS file is opened within the program you can get the time and location (on the Earth) of the image taken, and you can get information to calculate the size of the field of view of the image by choosing Image Info -- Fits Header and then scrolling through the display that results.
If you would like to see if anything is moving in your image, load several aligned images and then choose Blink and then Start in the window that opens.
Photometry measures the amount of light in a selected portion of your image. This can be accomplished by either selecting Photometry or by using the Graph tool. See this page for images of these tools.
