The mission of Chicago Area Literacy Leaders is to serve as a collaborative forum for secondary literacy professionals. The group’s primary work highlights current research-based instructional practices and trends surrounding the topic of current education policy, literacy initiatives, successful literacy coaching and leadership in the public school setting.

We have a very outdated CALL member & tool log. We are looking for some help getting this updated. This means taking a look at what we have and developing an easy to navigate survey for members to articulate current programming and initiatives. This helps everyone know who to reach out to for various ongoing research and collaborations. Please reach out to Katie (katgil@d219.org) if you are interested in teaming on this.
