About the KLC Tutoring Center

The Knights' Learning Center

The Knights' Learning Center (KLC) is an academic resource center available for students at Prospect High School. Within the KLC, there are study labs, drop-in computers, computer labs, library books, the Technology Help Desk, the Mobile Knights Center, and the Tutoring Center. Students can visit the KLC before school, during their free period (open study hall or lunch), with a pass from a teacher, or after school. The KLC is led by library staff, Mrs. Christie Sylvester and Mrs. Joan Van Eck.

The KLC is open on school days from 6:45am to 4:00pm.

The KLC Tutoring Center

The KLC tutoring center is staffed by teachers and student tutors throughout the day.  The KLC has over 100 student tutors who received a day-long training session.  Our tutors are trained to handle various tutoring scenarios in Math, Science, Social Studies, and English courses, but can assist with any subject at Prospect. The KLC tutoring center is led by Mrs. Lauren Collins and Ms. Danielle Menacker.

The Tutoring Center is open from 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday, and from 7:00am to 3:00pm Fridays.
