Hello! My name is Elyse McGinn and I have been working in Special Education for the past eight years.  I have worked as a Special Education teacher in Township High School District #211 at a variety of schools including Fremd, Palatine and Schaumburg.   I attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  I graduated and began working at a small day school run by Glenbrook High School District #225 for high school students with special needs.  I then enrolled at Roosevelt University where I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education, my Social Science-Psychology and Learning Behavior Specialist I teaching endorsements.  I currently run the Therapeutic and Academic Support Continuum – T.A.S.C. Program at Fremd High School.  In addition to teaching, I am also a Freshmen "B" Girls Volleyball coach and Freshmen Softball coach.  Please feel free to browse my website, check out the resources I have provided and contact me with any questions.  I look forward to another exciting school year!
