English Companion — Target Audience ELA Grades 6-12. This site provides a teacher created resources and discussion on a myriad of topics. The motto for the site is Where English Teachers go to help other English Teachers. The site is very well organized and provides rich discussion and resource you can use in your classroom today. You must apply for membership because this site is not only about what you can use, but also what can you contribute to the field. There are different levels of accessibility for a cost, but check it out and see if this site worth your time!

Illuminations — A library of 108 online activities that help to make math come alive in the classroom or at home

Illustrative Mathematics — Every grade level is easily accessed with standards displayed. Each CCSS is exemplified with an easy to use activity which could be used as the basis for in-class work in a flipped classroom.  Here is how I picture it being used:  1. At home: students watch a short video lesson or try guided discovery/activity.  2. In school: students work together or alone on an activity from illustrative math or yummy math aligned to the supporting lesson or activity they did at home which supports the standard being learned. The files from Illustrative math can be converted to word documents using www.fileminx.com in order to make them editable.
