"Is there a difference between happiness and inner peace? Yes. Happiness depends on conditions being perceived as positive; inner peace does not." Eckhart Tolle.
Welcome to my website! I have been privileged to work as a psychology faculty member at UMD since 2005. I teach undergraduate and graduate level courses related to children and families, internships, and ethics. I also conduct research on factors that impact the effectiveness of child psychotherapy, partnering with several local mental health organizations serving children and families in our community. Interested in learning more? Visit my Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents Research on Effectiveness (P-CARE) lab website.
