Cypress Woods FFA is an Awesome Adventure!

By becoming a part of FFA you have the opportunity to raise an animal project.  Projects can include Steers, Heifers, Lambs, Goats, Pigs, Turkeys, Chickens and Rabbits.  You can also compete in Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, Poultry Judging, and Dairy Cattle Judging.  FFA Students participate in Monthly Chapter Meetings, CFISD Livestock Show, and Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Tour Guiding.

           Meet our Ag Science Advisors


Mrs. Dale began teaching Agriculture Science at Cypress Woods High School in 2015.  She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science.  She was the Vice President of Off Campus Aggies.  Mrs. Dale worked in a small animal hospital for 6 years and received her Certified Veterinary Assistant Level 1 Certification.  She is a proud   product of Cypress Woods FFA


Mr. Atkins began teaching Agriculture Science in 2017 at Cypress Woods High School.  He graduated from Sam Houston State University where he was an Ambassador for the Dept. of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering Technology.  While in college, he student taught at Cinco Ranch High School in Katy ISD.  Mr. Atkins is another proud product of Cypress Woods FFA.  Fun Fact:  Mr. Atkins was a CyWoods Wild Thing!!


Ms. McClellan joined the Cypress Woods High School Agriculture team this year.  She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science and 2 minors including Secondary Education and Equine Science.  During her time at SHSU, Ms. McClellan competed in Track and Field and was the President of the Horseman's Association.  She student taught at Tomball High School in Tomball ISD.  She is also a proud product of Cypress Woods FFA!
