My goal for Physical Education is to have students learn different ways to be active and introduce students to a wide variety of activities that will encourage them to move for a lifetime. Our quality of life is highly related to our physical and mental health. We are all going back to basics---Move it or lose it!
ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Hi, I am Jacquae Sindel. I have been teaching Physical Education for 32 years---29 of those years have been here at Canyon. I have been the head varsity girls tennis coach at College Park High School for the last 34 years. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA degree in Exercise Physiology. I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University and a Teaching Credential from CSU Hayward. I am married and have two boys --- my older son is a senior at Cal Poly SLO in the Engineering Department and my younger son is a sophomore at CSU Chico in Computer Science Department. As a family, we enjoy playing sports, hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, playing ping pong, smash ball, spike ball, and card games.
