The first full week of the 2016-2017 school year is almost in the books.  I hope everyone has had a good start to the school year. I encourage everyone to come out and support our students who are representing LHS in fall activities this year. This past week the LHS Volleyball and Cross Country teams opened their respective season. The LHS Football team will be opening their season tonight. Tonight will also be the first night for the LHS band to perform for the fans under the direction of Mr. Cincotti.

I would also like to give a shout out to the LHS webpage class and Ms. Jayel Seitzinger. This year they are taking over a lot of the LHS portion of the district website with hopes of expanding to run the entire website. They are off to a great start and I look forward to what they do with our site.

Parents and Students reporting illness

posted Oct 15, 2014, 10:08 AM by Paul Higginbotham

A reminder for student and parents. If your student is at school and feeling ill, they need to report to the office before texting home. This is a safety precaution for the school to know that a student is not feeling well. This lets the administration know if they need to check on a student who is ill and may go to the restroom. Once a student reports to the office they can then text home to contact a parent or the office can make the call. Thank you for your help in this matter.
