Comments: We played well today. Our 151 breaks the old srchool record of 152 set 4 years ago and tied earlier this season. I am very proud of these young men. They work hard and are putting together a great season. Olney has a good team. They shot 165 today. Coach Nealis does a great job at Olney. Beating them again today when they played their best golf of the season is a credit to our guys stepping up when challanged. We will continue to improve. We will play some of the best teams in the state this Friday and Saturday at Mattoon. We are looking forward to playing against some very good teams.

2018 Golf Regional

regional 2018 @ mattoon

Comments ; Today was a tough day for us. Obviously, we did not play well. After the season we have had, it is a hard pill to swallow not qualifying for the Sectional. We did have a great season, setting 2 school records, winning an LIC Championshipand earning a total of 98 wins. Congratulations to Camren for qualifying as an individual for Sectional. Also, a huge thank you to Landed Ray and Nolan Tewell our Seniors. Landen had a great season. He played very well this season and had a stellar high school career. Nolan has been a good team leader and is now the 2018 LIC Champion. Nolan also had a stellar 4 year career. Landen and Nolan will be missed and we wish them luck in the future. Finally, a huge thank you to Mark Storck our volunteer assistant coach. He did an outstanding job and to all those that contributed to the golf program and a special thank you to the Lawrence County Country Club for the use of their facility and support.

Congratulations to the golf team as they placed first in conference.
Also congratulations to Nolan Tewell for placing first overall in conference.

New Record!

Congratulations to the LHS/RHHS co-op golf team who broke the school record for a nine hole score, shooting 151 at LCCC tonight. A great final home match for seniors Nolan Tewell & Landen Ray!
