Head Coach: Greg Wood is in his 7th year as head coach at Lawrenceville, his 33nd year of coaching football, and his 19th year as head coach at high school level. He has a 27-13 overall record at Lawrenceville. His overall high school head coaching record is 107-64 with 13 play off appearances. He teaches Physical Education at Lawrenceville High School. Wood earned a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Loras College in Dubuque, IA, and an Administrative Degree from Aurora University. He has two sons, Tyler (28), and Austin (26).

Chad Green has been a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal service for 18 years, and has been assisting with the Lawrenceville High School football team for the past 7 years. Prior to that, Green assisted with Jr. Pro Football League for three years. He is married to Heather, and is father to Zach and Zane Green and Lane and Dalton Vories.

Tom Hearn is a native of Moline, IL and graduated from Moline High School in 1982. This is his 13th year of coaching Illinois High School Football, and his 9th year of coaching for LHS. He coached JFL in the Quad City and Galesburg area for 8 years. A retired major at Robinson Correctional Center, Hearn served the state for 30 years at the Illinois Department of Corrections. He has been married to Jennifer (Polk) Hearn for 21 years, and they have two children: Shyloh and Noah Hearn.

Ryan Jefferson graduated from Winchester High School in 2010 and from Illinois College in 2014. He played football and ran track at Illinois College, while majoring in Education. Ryan taught and coached for 2 years at Winchester High School before getting married and moving to this area to teach Physical Education and Health at Parkview Jr. High. Jefferson will also be coaching track during the spring season.

Cory Joergens is a native of Arcola, IL, and is entering the 4th year of coaching at Lawrenceville. Joergens teaches 7th grade math at Parkview Junior High. He graduated from Illinois College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education, and also was a four year member of the Illinois College football team. Joergens currently lives in Lawrenceville with his wife Megan.

Mark Jones graduated Vincennes Lincoln High School in 1990 and moved to Lawrenceville in 2001. Jones coached Jr. Pro Football for 5 years. This is his 6th year with offensive and defensive line on the coaching staff for LHS. He is married to Libby jones and has two sons, Trent and Ben.

Chester Lewis is a native of Lawrenceville and graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1970. He participated in wrestling and track at the University of Illinois, and served for 30 years in the United States Marine Corps. Lewis coached youth soccer, baseball, softball, and baseball for 11 years. Lewis coached the Marine Corps football team for 5 years and the adult softball for 12 years. He was inducted into the Lawrenceville Hall of Fame with the ’69 Lawrenceville football team, ’69 baseball team, and as an individual in 2012. He’s been married for 38 years to Marlene Diane Bennett; has three children, Alicia Graham, Ashley Horrocks, and Bryce Lewis; and five grandchildren, Aiden, Aryianna, Ace, Riley Lynn, and Olivia Jade.

Adam Seaney is in his 4th year as an assistant coach at Lawrenceville. He came to Lawrenceville after 5 years as the head football coach at Palestine High School. He is the Assistant Principal at Parkside Elementary School in Lawrenceville. Seaney also served as the Head Wrestling Coach at the LHS for two years. He has been married for 5 years to Abbie Seaney and is father to Addisyn Grace
