Amanda Baugher received her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from SIU-C in December of 2000, and has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2001. Amanda began providing sports medicine coverage for the Kahoks in 2002.
As athletic trainer, Amanda works to prevent, treat & rehabilitate athletic injuries. The athletic training room is available to all athletes and offers a variety of treatment & physical therapy options. Most days, Amanda can be found on a practice field or at a sporting event, providing medical care to the student athletes. During her time with the Kahoks, she has also worked to develop policies and programs for the athletic department such as CHS's concussion management policy, extreme heat policy and ACL injury prevention program. She is also responsible for overseeing the athletic department's drug testing program. In addition, Amanda is a member of Unit 10's Wellness Team and helped develop the district wide Wellness Plan.
Amanda lives in Collinsville with her husband, Anthony, daughter, Avery (4) and dog, Chicken. She is active in her church and is involved with the Jr Service Club of Collinsville.
