Randy England & Ashley Wright

posted Oct 4, 2016, 7:37 AM by Darryl Curtis

Randy England has lived in the Fairview community since 1971. He has one daughter, Jessica England. He has been employed at Acument Global Technologies in Spencer, TN as a Machinist for 29 years. Also, he is employed with Donald Hillis Realty and Auction for more than 20 years. He is an auctioneer for the company. Randy is a member of the McMinnville Evening Exchange Club, and is currently President elect. He is also on the board of directors for the Warren County chapter of the American Red Cross, and serves on the organization's disaster relief team. He is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Randy is a member of the Fairview Community Center; board member of the Warren County A&L fair; and trustee for the Smyrna CemeteryUses his auctioneering abilities to raise thousands of dollars for people in need, such as American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Child Abuse Prevention, and other many benefits throughout the county. The reason why he got into this event for Relay for Life is because it is for cancer research. Like many other families, his own family has been affected by cancer. His grandmother died of Leukemia when he was 12 years old. He watched my cousin go through the struggles of cancer, as well. Randy truly believes that Relay for Life is doing great things for cancer survivors and their families. Hopefully in the future there will be a time when our children will not have to worry about the plague of cancer in their lives. He believe every effort made for Relay for Life is another step toward freedom from cancer in the future.

Randy's dance partner tonight is Ashley Gillentine Wright. Ashley is the community relations coordinator at River Park Hospital and also works on occasion at her family's business Ashley's Attic. She is an avid volunteer with organizations such as Susan G. Komen Upper Cumberland, Relay for Life, Junior Auxiliary and March of Dimes and serves on the the local Heritage Alliance, Blood Assurance, Health Council and ACHIEVE advisory boards.  Ashley and her husband Seth live in McMinnville and are Nashville Predator season ticket holders.

Ashley and Randy will be showing their Predator pride tonight with their attire. They'll be dancing to "First and Last Waltz" by Nickel Creek with a Predator-themed suprise at the end.
