A 17-year-old junior at Warren County High School, Bliss Zechman is the daughter of Christie Zechman and a very proud big sister to 11-month-old Tallulah. Bliss is a member of Interact service club, Student Advisory, Student Council, Mu Alpha Theta, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and Youth Leadership. She has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the dance team. A devoted member of First Baptist Church, Bliss was the 2009 Miss Warren County Scholarship Pageant winner.

Bill, a graduate of McMinnville City High School and the University of Tennessee, worked as a radio news director and newspaper editor before joining the University of Tennessee Space Institute as a research chemist. There he was appointed assistant to internationally known physicist and energy scientist Dr John B Dicks, Jr. During his 30-year career as agent with State Farm Insurance he has been active in the public life of our community, serving 22 years on the Warren County Commission and now in his third year on the Warren County School Board. A former member of the McMinnville Lions Club and Noon Exchange Club, Bill is now a member of the Noon Rotary Club. He is a volunteer producer with Warren County public radio WCPI 91.3, after starting his broadcasting career at age 14 as host for a weekly classical music program on the historic WHNR, McMinnville’s first FM station. He is a former two-term president of the Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter of the United Nations Association, USA, and is on the board of directors of the Bryan Symphony Orchestra, the resident professional orchestra at Tennessee Technological University. Among his hobbies, Bill is a muzzle-loading enthusiast, shooting only at paper targets with his old-fashioned black powder rifle.
