How did Culver-Stockton help you in your career?

As I reflect on this statement, my career/professional life was influenced by Culver-Stockton College faculty. Teachers in my major/non-major courses influenced me in some manner. I found most teachers to be good listeners, well informed in their subjects, caring and flexible. In the classroom C-S teachers would listen to my responses while usually accepting my ideas and views, but always allowing me to "think".

What's a special memory you have of your time on campus? This memory has been mentioned before; however one of my special memories is sledding down the concourse on cafeteria trays! Culver adminsitration "closed us down" one year after a student broke her wrist. One of my other favorite memories was our choir trip to the New York World's Fair! There are many "inside" stories that go along with that trip.

If you or a C-SC alumnus/a you know is interested in serving on the board, please contact Gina Driscoll, alumni board president, at for more information.
