We don't believe that watching movies is the answer to all the worlds problems. But we consider them a good starting point for important conversations. The first step to solving any problem is admitting that there is one and films can do a wonderful job of presenting these issues in an organized and engaging fashion.
Camp Everytown will begin discussions with administration and other stakeholders about holding film nights for the community where we wish to show some of the
meaningful films we are seeking to bring to the teacher library. We want to use the Cafeteria and invite students, parents, staff, and guests to join us and start the conversations that my serve as a catalyst for positive social inclusion and promote a healthier school culture.
As of this moment this conversation has only just begun within the club.
