A little bit about myself:
This is my 15th year teaching at Conemaugh Township! I have spent all 15 years teaching sixth graders and ten of those tears as the head varsity track and field coach.
I graduated high school from Somerset, earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at UPJ and am also certified in middle school science, social studies and math. I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Gannon University.
My husband and I have two sons. One is entering third grade and the other kindergarten, both at Somerset Area School District.
I like spending time with my family and friends. We like to go camping and spending time at the beach. I also enjoy sports, crafts, running and just being outdoors.
I have completed seven marathons; Pittsburgh in 2010, Virginia Beach in 2011, Akron OH in 2014, Richmond VA in 2016, Morgantown WV in 2018, Johnstown in 2018 and the Presque Isle Marathon in 2019. I've also ran in a 77 mile relay race on the Laurel Highland Hiking Trail, several 1/2 marathons as wells as many local 5 & 10K's.
