Alerts We will integrate reminders regarding OtterAlerts and allow a student to further sign up for other non-emergency alerts (e.g. groups).  
Applications Most apps on the right side are links to systems, so we'll move those to a Links area in the navigation.  
Blogs These are rarely used currently, so this is a feature will probably move to Blogger.  
Contextual Help Adding more clickable areas in the interface to provide information regarding how to use features.  
Groups The standard groups that have been part of MyCSUMB will all move over.  
Groups (majors) We also want to create role-based groups tied to a major in CMS, where a department can communicate to a group of majors.  
Messaging Automatic system messages (e.g. holds, OtterAlerts, Library notifications). Can included SMS text messages. Non-marketing only.  
Private Groups The ability to create private groups will continue, but public groups will be approved before being published.  
Profile We are adding more fields, public/private control, and the ability to add colleagues. A to Z Directory update will be based here exclusively.  
Project Management Groups can now have project management features like creating projects, creating cases, and doing basic case tracking (status and assigned state)  
Recent Activity A new area that shows activity in your groups, including posts and comments.  
Recently Activity (public) A way to see into the activity of every public group, regardless of your membership, to allow for a "feel" for what's going on around campus.  
Themes Users will have the ability to choose from a wide variety of themes, which include those design in student-driven contests.
