Welcome!

CSTA-Delaware was founded in the summer of 2014 in an effort to create a community of support for Computer Science teachers in Delaware.  The mission of our Chapter is to further the mission of CSTA and to increase the coverage and improve the depth of Computer Science education in Delaware.

We learned a lot in the start of our first year, and as a new chapter are continuing to learn and grow.  We hope to continue to make improvements to better support Computer Science teachers and students in Delaware with your help.

Click Membership to find out how to become a member our chapter.  Membership is open to all teachers and educator faculty that teach and/or support Computer Science education.  We also welcome members from businesses and community organizations that are interested in supporting Computer Science education in Delaware.

We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at a CSTA-Delaware event soon!

2017 CSTA Annual Conference

July 8-11, 2017

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel
Baltimore, Maryland, USA

EARLY BIRD DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 1!

Welcome to CSTA 2017. We call it a conference but it's not like most conferences. The main goal is to provide quality information/assistance--professional development--for computer science teachers and others who wish to include computing in their teaching. We also want to build a community of computing teachers and we want you to be part of it. If you've never attended CSTA, come join us in Baltimore.

To us, a conference is successful when our attendees leave with at least one new idea that might improve their teaching practice. We hope our guests always leave a CSTA conference with several ideas and a number of specific activities that one can adapt to their teachings.

Join us in Baltimore for CSTA 2017! To get the most out of the conference, look for big ideas and take-and-use materials. Please take advantage of every opportunity to become part of the community.

Sincerely,
CSTA '17 Planning Committee
