The CSTA Sacramento Chapter is pleased to convene the first meeting of the 2015-2016 school year on Wednesday at 5:30 PM  at the Placer County Office of Education Seavey Center, located at 655 Menlo Drive in Rocklin. Social hour and dinner will begin 5:30 PM, followed by the meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This school year, dinner will be an optional, communal event - if you would like to join in the meal, we are asking for a $10 contribution (to be paid at the meeting).

During the meeting, we will discuss the new school year, upcoming CyberPatriot season, math and computing course opportunities, computational thinking lessons for core classes, Code For Hood Hackathon, and the 2016 CSTA Conference in San Diego. Most importantly, Wednesday will be an opportunity to connect with teachers throughout the Sacramento region that have an interest in CS.  While the agenda is still being finalized, a copy may be viewed at the Sacramento CSTA Chapter website (https://sites.google.com/a/csta-hq.org/csta-sacramento/).
