Call Center Customer Service Representatives needed!

Call Center Customer Service Representative Job Description:
First point of contact processing incoming calls for clients of Advanced Answering Center. The importance of these calls range from emergency situations to routine business matters. The individual must possess the ability to work well under pressure, including urgent situations where action must be taken immediately, accurately, and calmly. Responds to all calls with confidence using excellent communication skills. This is a moderate to high stress position.

Minimum Requirements: Education/Qualification:

·   High school diploma or equivalent required

·   Customer Service experience preferred but will train the right candidate

·   Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekend, holiday, and overtime

hours.

Skills that we are looking for in candidates:

·   Basic computer skills

·   Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills including strong grammar and spelling

·   Ability to listen and assimilate new information rapidly

·   Collaborates with co-workers and consistently performs all duties at the highest level during crisis, whether individually or as a team

·   Detail Oriented

·   Must be able to type 45 wpm (www.typingtest.com)

·   Speaks in a confident, friendly, pleasant tone, with good diction and clear enunciation, displays a “smile” in their voice, thus projecting a positive image

·   Displays an appropriate, professional, and positive attitude

·   Values others opinions even though they may be different from their own

·   Practices active listening

·   Takes control of calls using solid customer service skills; refrains from unnecessary conversations with callers and never gives advice

·   Able to follow all company and client written protocols

Physical Requirements:

·   Must be able to sit for an extended period of time, wear a headset and type while processing calls

·   Able to perform under pressure and capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·   Answers phone calls, take messages and/or provide information to callers and clients

·   Relays messages to clients of Advanced Answering Center in a professional manner

·   Supports company goals in your actions and words

·   Works with other employees in a team environment under the direction of the Shift Leader

·   Adheres to the operational policies and procedures as outlined by the organization

·   Ensures and maintains confidentiality

General Responsibilities

·   Performs all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner

·   Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by organizational needs

·   Represents Advanced Answering Center in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others
