Provide peer support services to adults who experience acute psychiatric episodes at the Crisis Stabilization and Inpatient Diversion and MapleWood Recovery Residence facilities.  These four bed residential programs assist individuals with building skills for mental health stability and independent living including problem-solving strategies, coping skills and managing daily activities for eventual reintegration into their community.  The Peer Services Coordinator utilizes their own personal experience with mental illness and recovery to provide informed peer support, promoting the principles of recovery through peer counseling, group facilitation and assistance with accessing peer support in the community. Must have excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team in a stabilizing environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Training and experience in peer advocacy required.

This facility is designed to provide a nurturing environment that supports individuals’ efforts to reintegrate into their community of residence.   The LNA works under the direction of the Residential Nursing Staff Supervisor as part of a multidisciplinary team of treatment providers, providing medical services, education and personal care to residents while implementing their individual plan of care.

Crisis Stabilization Program

Provide support services to adults who experience acute psychiatric episodes in a short-term, 4 bed crisis program. Supervise and help stabilize crises of clients by creating a daily routine to include: problem-solving strategies, coping skills and practice for managing daily activities safely for reintegration into their community upon discharge.  Create individual treatment plans and assist individuals to accomplish specified tasks to reach their goal.  Facilitate small group sessions to provide education and therapeutic support to enhance clients’ abilities to cope with their mental health symptoms.  Admit and discharge clients, coordinating with their treatment team as necessary.  Meal planning and preparation and some light housekeeping are required. Evergreen Substance Abuse Services

Substance Abuse Clinician                                                 CADC/LADC Required

Seeking a certified or licensed substance abuse clinician to work with Evergreen Substance Abuse Services a division of Rutland Mental Health Services. Duties may include: group counseling (outpatient and/or intensive outpatient), individual counseling, assessments, case management and referrals working as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping individuals with substance abuse issues. Position requires experience working with substance abuse populations and CADC or LADC.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

Crisis Team 24 hours a day 365 days a year emergency services to children and adults.  Through an emergency telephone number (775-1000) and through direct assessment and screenings. The Crisis Team also screens people for voluntary as well as involuntary inpatient.

CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES

Child and Family Services provides assessment, referral, individual and group treatment, medication management, crisis intervention, and substance abuse services to children ages birth to 18 years old.  These services are provided in a variety of settings including clinic based services, home based services, community based interventions, and school based services.

Outpatient Child Psychiatrist- Board eligible

Child Psychiatrist needed in a community mental health center to assist in the provision of comprehensive child and family services including mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment, community based wraparound supports as well as School-Based, Early Childhood, Crisis  and Transitional age services.  Responsibilities include providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and staff consultation.  Completion of full residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.  Candidate must value working with an internal team of providers as well as collaborating with community partners.
