Welcome to my new preschool/PK  students!

Following is our preschool schedule and curriculum information.

Preschool Schedule



12:00 - 12:55 Free Activity Time - Children are offered a variety of manipulatives, equipment for building, activities for creative play, and materials for paper and pencil tasks. During this time they will also work in small groups on a specific project and may work individually with the teacher on a learning task. (On Wednesdays & Fridays the children will have music from 12:30 - 1:00.)


1:00 - 1:15 Storytime - Our stories are usually related to our topic of the day. After the story we discuss our whole group work lesson for the day.


1:15 - 1:45 Structured learning time - Children work on a lesson related to our topic of the day. (colors, shapes, letters...) When they are finished they may choose to work on puzzles, stencils, manipulatives, computers, look at books....


1:50 - 2:25 Snack and outdoor play time.


2:30 - 2:40 Circletime - fingerplays, songs, stories... We also review what we worked on that day, and talk about what we will do tomorrow.


2:45 Dismissal


Preschool Curriculum: The Preschool program offers a varied curriculum that will allow children to learn, grow, interact, and discover. We will work on language and social development, small and large motor skills as well as music, art, science and math. Through our religion program, Stories of God's Love”. the children will learn about Jesus and His friends. We also read stories to the children from The Beginners Bible For Children.


During the school year the children will work on skills such as language development, social development, small motor skills, learning about colors and shapes, and they will be introduced to letters, numbers, and counting.
