2013 Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition

The Mid-Atlantic Region includes southern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

Registration:

Registration is handled through the main Mid-Atlantic Site, http://midatl.cslab.vt.edu/. Shippensburg will provide space for up to 24 teams.

Computing Environment:

Machines available for the contest will (tentatively) be running Ubuntu Linux, and have all of the software required by the regional specifications

Contest submissions will use the PC2 judging software

Directions to Shippensburg University:

  • General directions to campus are available through http://www.ship.edu/about. 

  • The competition will be held on the second floor of the Mathematics & Computing Technologies Center (MCT). Campus map (building 35 on that map). 

  • Campus police will not ticket any legally parked vehicles; use handicapped spaces only if you have a handicapped license/hang-tag and part front end in to avoid a ticket.

  • Shippensburg is near two larger towns. Chambersburg is closer, about 15 miles south on I-81. Carlisle is further away, about 25 miles north on I-81, but offers more urban amenities.
