Rwandan Genocide

In 1994 close to million people were slaughtered in Rwanda during a three month period. It was a systematic killing of a people group. This type of killing has taken place numerous times around the world over the past century. The United State has protections built into its governing document, the U. S. Constitution. These protections include due process and habeas corpus. This unit brings to light what can happen when a government does not have limits. It also points out advantages to being an American, something many people take for granted.
