Year 3 and 4
Year 3 and 4 is a world full of exciting and challenging opportunities where children flourish with their learning. In addition to supporting Year 3 children through the transition from Key Stage One to Key Stage Two, we work on encouraging the children to become more independent while enjoying a wide range of new and exciting learning opportunities.
We believe in making learning fun and engaging for everyone and encourage the children to work together in an active environment across all areas of the curriculum.
Topics we cover include:
- Ruthless Romans - Looking at the Romans in Britain and their legacy, Roman numerals, mosaics and chariots
- Mayans - Looking at the Mayan culture and their influence on today;s society
- Saxons and Vikings - looking at everyday life at this time and the development of one kingdom
- Amazing Amazon - Looking at the location of the Amazon rainforest, animals and their habitats and wildlife in art.
