Ms. Vicki Pope

has taught AP 3D Art & Design, Intro to 2D, Intro to 3D, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture 1-6, Art History 1 & 2, Ceramics, and Digital Design at WCHS for 23 years. She is the sponsor for National ART Honor Society and the Fine Arts Academic Super Bowl Team.  Next year she will offer Ivy Tech Dual Credit Art History classes Survey of Art and Culture 1 and 2 and Art Appreciation!

Mrs. Emily Litsey-

has taught AP 2D Art & Design, AP Drawing, Intro to 2D, Drawing, Painting 1-6, and Photography at WCHS for 17 years.  This year she added Art Outreach and an Arts Wellness FIT as a way to bring more art opportunities to students and share their work with the community. She was named Teacher of the Year for the 2022-23 school year!

Mr. Brian VanderVeen

has taught Photography 1-4, Digital Design 1-4, Visual Communications, Intro to 2D, and Drawing at WCHS for 11 years. He started the Old School Dungeons & Dragons club and has 25 years of teaching experience in CPCSC!!

Mrs. Karina Maxwell-

has taught Drawing 1-6, Ceramics, Intro to 3D and Printmaking at WCHS for 5 years. We are hoping she will join us in the main building after the renovation, but in the meantime, her students' amazing and varied work can be viewed in the display cases at the North building!

Mrs. Shayna Nelson-

has taught Ceramics 1-6, Intro to 3D and Intro to 2D here at WCHS for 4 years. She encourages her students to share their art with the community and many of them have created award winning ceramic pieces! She is also dedicated to supporting school culture at WCHS through her involvement with a committee that builds community among teachers.
