The "Geek Game" is a simple mobile game that rewards attendees for attending guest speaker sessions, engaging with exhibit hall interactions and completing goal-oriented challenges. Top scoring participants are highlighted in real time via the leader board. Learn, geek and win!
THE Geek Fest, a celebration of innovation and technology, is coming to CPCC’s Levine Campus on Thursday, Nov. 14 and will feature the latest in technology, innovation and professional opportunities. The greater Charlotte community is encouraged to participate in this free event.
Attendees will interact with exciting new technologies, meet innovative companies and learn from industry experts. This year’s event will highlight a variety of exciting topics, including launching a startup business, product development, social media, programming and software development, animation, automotive technology, engineering, mobile computing, instructional technology and much more. Activities will include guest speakers, an exhibit hall, demonstrations, activities, video games, music, contests, food and door prizes.

A BarCamp is a community-organized democratic event and typically centers around tech and innovation. Professionals and creatives attend and pitch to speak on emerging trends, technologies and topics that they love. Attendees then vote for the day's agenda. BarCamp Charlotte has hosted seven (7) successful events with over 250 attendees. BarCamp brings out the best and brightest in the tech, arts, startups, tech, media, investing, marketing and computer fields. From freelancers to entrepreneurs,to executives and college students, all are encouraged to participate.
