In December 2016, a contract was successfully negotiated with Tyler Technologies to purchase and implement the Odyssey unified case management system. The Maine Judicial Branch (MJB) and Tyler Technologies (Tyler) are now in the planning and initiation phases of the eFCMS project. Both the MJB and Tyler recognize that communication with our stakeholders is critical to project success. This site is one way in which project leaders will communicate with our internal and external stakeholders. We invite you to review the other pages of this site to gather the information you may need. We will also periodically post announcements and updates as the project progresses.

  • Judicial Branch's eFiling Case Management System Project - Information Center Website July 14, 2017 - Approximately six weeks ago, the Judicial Branch sent you an update on the new CMS project (below). As referenced in the recent update, the Judicial Branch is now activating an eFCMS (eFiling Case Management System) Information Center website - eFCMS Information Center. The purpose of this website is to help keep Stakeholders informed, and to serve as a vehicle for submitting questions and suggestions as we move through the development and implementation process together.  To that end, the eFCMS site includes tabs for major announcements, the latest implementation schedule, and FAQs. There is an electronic form for submitting questions and suggestions located at the bottom of the FAQ tab.  We will expand the website with more information as ...

  • Judicial Branch's New CMS - Stakeholder Update June 2, 2017 - It was nice to see those of you who were able to join us for the Stakeholders' Update meeting on 3/31/17 at the Capital Judicial Center regarding the implementation of the Judicial Branch's (JB) new eFiling Case Management System (eFCMS).  This is an exciting project for the Judicial Branch, and with the input of various stakeholders, such as you, we are confident the new system will provide many benefits to the Judicial Branch and to the public.For those of you who were unable to attend, Tyler Technologies, Inc. was introduced at the meeting.   • Maine Judicial Branch Announces Award of Court Management System Contract to Tyler Technologies December 20, 2016. Chief Justice Leigh I. Saufley today announced the signing of a multi-year contract with Tyler Technologies to purchase and implement integrated court management and access software for the Maine District, Superior and Supreme Judicial Courts.    Tyler has 4 offices in Maine with plans to double its current Maine work force of 584 employees to 1100 in the next few years.   The Chief Justice said, “This contract signing culminates an extensive competitive bid process and lengthy negotiations with Tyler Technologies.
