Dr. Caroline Nawara, MD - Medical Director
Dr. Nawara has practiced medicine as a specialist in Internal Medicine more than two decades. In her varied roles within the profession as a clinical instructor of medicine at Northwestern, a medical director and as a private physician to many, she is diligent in her concerned, compassionate care of each patient she sees. She values long term doctor-patient relationships and believes that this relationship is of critical importance in the care and medical treatment of her patients.
Her interest in medicine began in her childhood growing up on the southwest side of Chicago with exposure to significant medical illness in her immediate family. This combined with a personal interest in biology and science, and a fascination over the wonder of the human body in health and in illness led her to her chosen profession.
She credits her ability to care for patients in the manner she does to a beautiful and supportive family who understand that her role as a doctor to her patients is part of her very being, and one of the parts of her that make her the wife and mother that they love!
