This site provides information and resources for assisting people with benevolence issues.

God calls the church to show mercy to those in need. Deacons as servant-leaders of the church are further called to assess needs, promote stewardship and hospitality, collect and disburse resources for benevolence and develop programs of assistance (Psalter Hymnal, Ordination of Elders and Deacons, page 1004). Deacons are charged to realize that benevolence is a quality of our life in Christ and not merely a matter of financial assistance and to minister to sick and poor alike, both within and outside the church.

Accordingly, the Benevolence Fund is established to provide resources for those with short-term, immediate financial needs.
