Our first Open Mic of the year will be on Friday, Sept. 29th during all three lunch rotations in the purple area of the library.  There will be a sign-up sheet for all open mic days in the library.  See Mr. Fulton for more details.

Remember to get to class and in your seat before the bell rings.Tardies are being counted!  Please make sure you are to class on time!

Kristy Kemper-Hodge will be here this Friday during lunch time to talk with any students interested in joining the LPMS book club.  The meeting will take place in the blue area of the library.

Our office visitation policy has changed this year. All students are to go to the windows in the hallway for any office needs. If you go straight into the office first, you will be sent back out to the window. The only exceptions are students working in the office, or students arriving to school late.

Students should NOT be taking their iPads with them during their lunch rotations. Not to the Commons, the, gym, outdoor rec, or the library. Please keep them in your lockers during lunch.

The Library is a quiet option during lunch rotations for students that want to play cards, chess, read a book or even do Homework. If you come to the library to play tag or be loud you are in the wrong place and will be asked to leave. The Blue area of the library near the checkout counter is for quiet reading and homework, the Purple area of the library is for card games and chess. And remember the library is an iPad free zone during lunch for all activities except homework!

WEB Leaders: There is a volunteer sign-up sheet for next week’s LPMS Open House. Please add your name to the list if you can volunteer. We need 20-25 volunteers. The volunteer sign-up sheet is on the WEB whiteboard located by the health room and counselor window at the office. This is a great opportunity to serve your LPMS community.

We have a lot of people using the bike racks by the main entry.  We would like to have them park their bikes in the bike cage (near the back courtyard) if they are here for the full day, and save the front bike rack for students leaving early or for visitors. Please do not lock your bike to another bike!

Wondering what to do with your PAWS cards? The student store across from the commons will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting next week! We accept only PAWS cards as payment (no money), so keep on earning those “Thank you’s” for being respectful, responsible, and safe at LPMS, and trade them for useful and cool items at the student store during your lunch period.

iPad checkout begins today! The front part of the library will be closed today during break and lunch. The purple area (back) will be open.

Yesterday, the LPMS cross country team ran at an intrasquad meet at Porter Park.  The results are posted on the windows of the big gym.  The team’s first official meet will be on Saturday, when they will compete against 25 teams at the Northwest Classic in Eugene.
