This week’s music is brought to you by Zandra, Maddy, Ryann, Cade, Gwyn, Makayla, and McKenzie…

Don’t forget to bring your pennies in for the Penny Wars!  To help your 3rd period class, add pennies to your jug.  To sabotage other 3rd periods, add silver coins or dollars so they lose points. There are some really great prizes for the top 3 classes that have the most pennies so don’t miss out on all the fun.

Have you bought a yearbook yet?  If you’re unsure check the lists by the student store or in the 6th, 7th, 8th grade house.  If you haven’t bought a yearbook talk to Mrs. Hascall in the office.  The last day to get a yearbook for the last day of school is March 18th.  So hurry up and buy one and crop it like it’s hot!

All track and field forms and payments are due this week!  Don’t wait until the last minute.  Turn in to the LP office or to Mr. Rose

OBOB competition starts this week, Feb 23,24 and 25th. We need student volunteers to help with scoring and timing. See Mr. Fulton in the Library to volunteer. There will be no tutoring in the library this week due to the OBOB competition.

Students, please remember that when you are getting lunch through our cafeteria you are required to take the  fruit or vegetable that is offered to every student.  This is a federal law.  If students are not taking the daily piece of fruit, or occasionally a small package of carrots, then our school is in violation of the law and it could affect the assistance we receive from the government for free and reduced lunches.  So please, take the fruit or vegetable that is offered each day.

iPad Do’s and Don’ts:
DO: Remember, when you receive your iPad it’s your responsibility to keep track of it. Don’t leave it in your classroom or out in the hallway. We already had several misplaced iPads.
DO:  Keep your “Off and Away” when you are not using it for school work!
DON’T:  Change the cover, the iPad cover that came with the iPad needs to stay on it, please do not decorate the cover or replace it with a different cover.

If your iPad is not downloading apps…please be patient! We are working on a remote fix so Mrs. Peters doesn’t have to see every iPad. Make sure that you have gone to the Self Serve icon and accepted the VPP invitation for LPMS…this is a very important 1st step. It will require your iTunes password. When we reset it remotely you may get a gray box popup that says, “Allow App and Book Assignment? JSS.csd509j.net would like to assign apps and books to you.” Your answer is YES, continue. The next popup is Terms and Conditions…just says YES! It will require your iTunes password. Your iTunes Password is Capital 1st initial, small letter 2nd initial a Period and your 8 digit student ID.

The Apple Store is offline today...don't bother trying to load apps from your Self Serve icon, it won't work!
