SUNY Cortland Campus Rescue, the 2012 New York State EMS Agency of the Year, is a New York State Department of Health recognized Basic Life Support First Response Agency, that operates primarily on the SUNY Cortland campus. 
Since it's inception in 1976, Campus Rescue, which was formerly known as "Cortland State Emergency Squad", has been providing quality pre-hospital emergency medical services to the students, staff, faculty, and visitors to the SUNY Cortland campus. 
Campus Rescue responds to all medical emergencies on the SUNY Cortland campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the academic year. Campus Rescue also provides event standby services, fundraising opportunities, and disaster relief / recovery.
Campus Rescue has recently been recognized by SUNY Cortland for it's philanthropic and service efforts for all those affected by the flooding throughout the Southern Tier region of New York State.  

Congratulations to the members of SUNY Cortland EMS for being voted Central New York EMS agency of the year as well as New York State EMS agency of the year!  All the hard work over the course of the past year have paid off.
